Erskine College Baseball Camps Facilities

GRIER FIELD

Grier Field serves as home to the Erskine College baseball team, with dimensions of 330’ down the right and left field lines, 365 in left and right center field, and 390 to center field.  The field sits below the tennis courts and has a backdrop of pine trees along the outfield wall. Grier Field has seen many improvements over the last 16 seasons, including a new professional playing surface, installation of a new drainage system, irrigation system, a new scoreboard, regulation size fence, covered and lit bull pens and batting cages, and a 5 foot brick wall that surrounds the field.

BLAKE HOLLIDAY ROOM

Blake Holliday, the son of Richard and Libby Holliday, was a proud member of the Erskine College Baseball Team after transferring from Clemson University in 2017. He was a star athlete at Belton-Honea Path High School where he was awarded South Carolina Baseball Player of the year in 2016 and the same year named Mr. Baseball for the state of South Carolina. He led the BHP Baseball team to 3A State Championship in 2015 and 2016. Blake’s larger than life legacy lives on in our beautifully designed baseball lounge, thanks to multiple generous donations. The donated turf, couch, pool table, etched marble slabs, and Apple TV with the 75” flatscreen make for a great hangout for our student athletes.

BASEBALL LOCKER ROOM

In the summer of 2006, the Flying Fleet baseball program received a generous donation from Robert H. Sox that allowed the program to redesign its old locker room and lay the foundation for what it is today. The team locker room is equipped with 40 lockers, a 55” flat screen television, bluetooth stereo, a sofa and a ping pong table.
