The entire Erskine College Baseball staff will be in attendance instructing and evaluating.
The camp will give you a great opportunity to be seen and evaluated by the Erskine staff. Along with that you get to interact with us and see that our coaching style is a great fit for your development as a ball player. The camp has showcase style, individual coaching breakdowns, and a game. We also provide a tour around the campus and allow you to see everything Erskine College has to offer.
What makes our camp stand apart
We have offered/committed 19 players out of our prospect camps over the last two years. This is the best way to get in front of the entire Erskine staff at once and be seen!
The camp coaching staff will consist of the entire Erskine College coaching staff as well as at least 10 coaches from other colleges from the region. Coaching staff will consist of coaches from every division in college baseball (D1, D2, D3, JUCO).
College Coaches Attending:
The schedule for the weekend’s events will consist of a skill day on day 1 for all players to showcase their abilities to the college coaches. Skill day will consist of an instructional session, pro-style workout including running the 60, taking on-field BP, & a defensive workout which will be evaluated by all of the coaches in attendance. Pitchers will have video sessions with coaches that will be broken down later in the week. Days 2 & 3 will consist of 1 game per day that will be 7+ innings (3 outs or 5 batters). We will also be giving all teams a tour of our baseball facilities, locker room, player’s lounge & weight room over the weekend.
Each college coach will be in the dugouts helping with instruction throughout the games and one college coach will be assigned as the “manager” of each team. The travel coach will still be in charge of all lineup changes and the college coach will just coach third base if the travel coach would like him to. Teams will be able to arrive previous to their game & hit in our cages and will also stretch & throw on an auxiliary field in order to provide as much on-field game time to all teams in attendance.
